Overview

Our next CRO Specialist will be an integral part of our growing team, working across a range of clients and projects, with a particular focus on the agency’s largest accounts. The CRO Specialist is responsible for guiding the strategic success of our clients' Conversion Optimization (CO) engagements. Success will depend on the ability to enthusiastically and competently:

  • Develop impactful conversion and UX strategies — from data-driven ideation, execution, reporting, and analysis
  • Exhibit exceptional project management — from planning to delivery and continued growth
  • Build strong relationships; establish clear lines of communication with clients, partners, and internal team members; and use problem-solving capabilities to assure flawless program execution to meet and exceed stated objectives
  • Demonstrate a passion for continuous learning, iterating, and improving; a sound understanding of the digital marketing landscape; a zest for UX design and research and an entrepreneurial spirit to improve processes — from planning to strategy to deliver.
  • Collaborate with internal resources (including content, design, engineering, analytics, media planning partners, and cross-channel teams) and external clients to deliver great work together — and have fun doing it

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing recommendations to help clients deliver on key metrics and KPIs, through continuous website testing and user experience improvements, with a focus on B2B and/or SaaS companies
  • Prepare and present findings, reports, and recommendations to senior-level clients
  • Create and execute deliverables that help inform the ideal experiences for users; this could include items such as website audits, web analytics reviews, user journeys analysis, heuristic reviews, wireframes, information architecture reviews, task flows, user scenarios, and persona development
  • Help drive the success of client engagements, as the subject matter expert on a number of conversion optimization and UX engagements; understand the entire process: from KPI definition to execution to insight discovery
  • Conduct UX research through both qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Apply knowledge of web analytics, user segments, and audiences as they relate to the optimization process
  • Be able to translate and communicate testing results and data-driven recommendations into an effective message, continually creating insights and value for clients
  • Perform best practices for departmental procedures that facilitate workflow and effective communication; contribute to the development and improvement of processes
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing; provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a website testing and/or UX focused role
  • Proven success in Conversion Rate Optimization, including tactical and strategic achievement, with samples and results of past campaigns
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Digital Marketing, Human-Computer Interaction, Economics, Statistics, Information Science, etc.) is preferred
  • Highly proficient in web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of one or more testing platforms, Optimizely experience a plus 
  • Experience reporting on success/failure of optimization efforts
  • Strong proficiency in digital marketing and effective website design
  • Experience creating wireframes and functional/interaction specifications
  • A sound understanding of the mathematics behind effective testing
  • Strong digital proficiency, knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a bonus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate articulately both verbally and in writing; positive client service experience
  • Agency experience a plus
