Overview

Our next Digital Marketing Strategist will be an integral part of our growing Digital Marketing team, working across a range of clients and projects, with a particular focus on the agency’s largest accounts. Success will depend on the ability to enthusiastically and competently:

  • Develop impactful digital marketing and demand generation strategies — from data-driven ideation, execution, reporting, and analysis
  • Exhibit exceptional project management — from planning to delivery and continued growth
  • Build strong relationships; establishing clear lines of communication with clients, partners, and internal team members; and use problem-solving capabilities to assure flawless program execution to meet and exceed stated objectives
  • Demonstrate a passion for continuous learning, iterating, and improving; a sound understanding of the digital marketing landscape; a zest for growing demand of our clients products and services, and an entrepreneurial spirit to improve processes — from planning to strategy to delivery
  • Collaborate with internal resources (including content, design, engineering, analytics, and cross-channel teams) and external clients to deliver great work together — and have fun doing it

Responsibilities:

  • Devise and pitch omnichannel strategies to drive online traffic to client websites, with a particular focus on B2B and/or SaaS companies
  • Measure performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI); prepare and present recommendations, reports, and findings to senior-level clients
  • Interpret website analytics and conversion tracking to inform new and existing programs
  • Create journey maps for digital marketing campaigns through all touchpoints
  • Conceive and execute content campaigns to drive education and engagement
  • Collaborate with client and internal teams to create campaign assets, such as paid ads and landing pages, and optimize user experience 
  • Perform keyword research (discovery and expansion) to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Create email strategies for prospects, existing customers, past customers, etc.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing; provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or similar role, with B2B, omnichannel, and personalization experience a plus
  • Proven success in Digital Marketing, including tactical and strategic achievement, with samples and results of past campaigns
  • Experience monitoring and managing integrated marketing programs with both inbound (e.g., user engagement, search marketing) and outbound (e.g., display advertising, personalized media, social advertising, persona targeting, email) efforts
  • Ability to meet or exceed project deadlines and budgeted hours
  • Experience with Google tag manager
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Stellar time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, including working with clients and internal team
  • Knowledge of best-in-class SEO and analytics
  • Agency experience a plus
