Senior Content Strategist

You’re a Content Strategist with at least 5 years of experience in content planning, development, design, production, analysis, management, and measurement. You understand and believe that digital experiences are more than wireframes, UI, and code — they should be organized, engaging, and, more than anything, meaningful to the user at every interaction. And that starts and ends with content. 

Modus is a collaborative digital experience studio. We combine content, design, technology, and a deep understanding of human behavior to create digital strategies, experiences, and products that inspire people and transform organizations. We are headquartered in New York City, with offices in Buenos Aires and Manila.

  • A standout idea generator and problem solver with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A stellar UX and marketing writer and content developer 
  • Analytical and thoughtful, with the ability to gather key business and user insights, and apply strategic planning skills to create a long-term vision for content strategies and execution programs
  • A compelling brand storyteller with a design sensibility to envision how content will be presented or distributed in all kinds of formats and channels
  • Deeply knowledgeable and experienced in digital marketing channels, content marketing and distribution platforms, consumer analytics, and user experience
  • Experienced in SEO, keyword research, information architecture, and usability best practices
  • Experienced in marketing and conversion copywriting and familiar with how messaging and content contribute to conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Experienced in working with large-scale websites and custom digital products/apps
  • Comfortable dealing with both internal teams and external clients

You will...

  • Work with information architects, UX designers, content management system developers, and marketers to deliver stories and content systems that are aligned with business goals
  • Help establish and articulate brand positioning and internal and external key messages, and ensure that content is aligned accordingly
  • Conduct content audits and gap analyses 
  • Develop content strategies for digital experiences and products, marketing channels, and content marketing and distribution platforms
  • Use consumer analytics to determine the best way to engage users, increase customer loyalty, generate leads, and measure brand awareness
  • Create and maintain editorial calendars, style guides, taxonomies, metadata frameworks and content migration plans
  • Use your understanding of SEO, keyword research, information architecture, and usability best practices to deliver targeted content
  • Deliver against business performance goals or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure: brand awareness, lead generation, customer loyalty and user engagement
