Modus is looking for a Marketing Analyst to join our growing Digital Marketing practice. You will help shape marketing strategy for our clients and uncover opportunities for growth through informed recommendations and analytics. 

From digital advertising campaigns to CRM and marketing automation platforms, you will help the team to answer complex marketing questions. We work with a variety of client marketing functions (brand, digital, product marketing, and marketing operations) to increase awareness, engagement, and lead acquisition. 

You will be a central resource with ownership of multiple data projects and data-centric needs, from designing and delivering reporting, to campaign experiment design, to data-driven guidance on content and creativity. 

Internally you will partner closely with our Digital Marketing Strategy, Conversion Rate Optimization, and Content Marketing teams. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support marketing strategy development, marketing programs, selection of measurement approaches/success metrics, and insight creation
  • Oversee data pipelines and conduct data quality control, to enrich and enhance marketing data assets
  • Build and expand existing dashboards, surface insights and democratize data access that empower teams to better understand and act on data
  • Perform exploratory analyses on large volumes of data; extract, package and present recommendations to inform marketing decisions
  • Identify problems and opportunities through data analysis and support the development of strategic solutions
  • Conduct end-to-end analysis autonomously and communicate insights effectively

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years experience in a Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science or relevant data-driven role
  • Mastery of SQL, experience with R or Python; BI reporting (i.e. Tableau, Google Data Studio, Domo) and databases (dimensional and relational), including data ingestion and transformation.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills including pivots, vlookups, ability to build complex formulas
  • Experience developing analytical frameworks, metrics to measure ongoing performance and understand performance drivers
  • Ability to transform data into a digestible and presentable story based on different audiences
  • Experience in analytics related to digital marketing (affiliate networks, SEM, SEO, display, social, email) is preferred

Experience with relevant marketing platforms/tools: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Optimizely, SEMRush, Google Search Console, Google Ads, DV360, SA360, Facebook, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Emarsys, Marketo or HubSpot.
